Behavioural Observation Audiometry

For children aged under 6 months.

Our professional audiologist assesses how your child responds to different sounds. A variety of noises are used which represent low, mid and high frequency sounds. These noises include crunching cellophane and tiny bells and chimes.

The following behavioural responses are measured:

Startling to loud noises.

Stirring from sleep.

Stopping sucking.

Looking for sound.
